“Unleashing Innovation: Atal Tinkering Lab – Nurturing Young Inventors”
ATL is the flagship initiative of AIM, the government of India, to nurture an innovative mindset among the school children.
The chief objective of establishing these labs is to promote curiosity, imagination and creativity in the mind of school going children.
Rainbow World School is the only school in the vicinity with ATAL TINKERING LAB with a goal to foster curiosity and innovation in young minds through 21st century tools and technologies such as IOT, 3D printing, rapid prototyping tools, robotics, miniature electronics and ‘Do yourself Kits’ and many more.
Our goals of the scheme include inculcating in children a design mindset, adaptive learning, computational thinking etc.
Our Achievements
- Three teams got selected in ATL marathon in the year 2021-2022. ATL Marathon 2021-22 is a national level innovation challenge organised by NITI Aayog. Three teams of our school got positions in top 300 teams.
The project “Energy and Transportation got 3rd position at All India level. The team members were Ishita, Alisha and Anshika of class 12th.
“Domestic Room Heaters” secured 90th position at All India level. The team members were Kashish, Kanika and Shivangi of Class 12th .
307th Position was grabbed by the project “Effect of Poverty on academic Performance of students”. The team members were Apoorva and Anshika of Class X.
2. In the year 2023-24, Under ALOT innovation fair organised by CBSE and INTEL, the project that got selected at National level, was Deteriorating Conditions of Monument, prepared by Yashika Jamwal and Aavya.
3 Rainbow World School was honoured as school of the month for May 2023 by AIM.
